Before taking a pill of Addyi
You cannot use Addyi if you recently consumed alcohol, have a flibanserin allergy, or have a liver disease.
It is no longer recommended to take Addyi two hours after consuming alcohol.
Certain pharmacological treatments may have unfavorable or dangerous effects when used with addyi. Your healthcare practitioner may also modify your treatment plan if you use any of the following additional treatments:
Nefazodone; fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole, posaconazole, and clarithromycin are antifungal drugs; ciprofloxacin, clarithromycin, erythromycin, and telithromycin are antibiotics. Antiviral drugs such as telaprevir and boceprevir are used to treat hepatitis C. Other drugs include conivaptan, diltiazem, and verapamil; these are also used to treat heart problems, high blood pressure, and HIV/AIDS.
