IATA Air Ticketing and reservation course in KPK

A professional airline ticketing agent is in charge of assisting passengers with baggage check-in, seat assignments, and moving larger bags onto the belt behind the counter. In addition to handling tickets, changes, and cancellations, he or she is also in charge of giving out information about flight times.
There are two main sections to the program:
1. Aviation Theory

2. GDS Ticketing and Airfares - Tariff

The program includes theoretical instruction in aviation history, global geography, time zones, travel agencies, and IATA operations. Seventy-five percent of this course, or the practical section, is based on the GDS Tariff, specifically on Travelport – Galileo. The Global Distribution System (GDS) is a command-based system that links travel agents and provides real-time inventory, fares, and airline schedules.
