Welcome to the initial segment of Solar Energy System Design Through solar panel PV System Software. In this module, we will delve deeper into solar resource than the Solar Energy Basics course. This will involve a more detailed examination of the characteristics of sunlight and the transformations it undergoes during its journey from the Sun to the Earth's surface.
Solar photovoltaic installation technicians specialize in learning to perform installation of solar system, including frames, railings, mounting and load management techniques.
Pakistan is facing energy crisis which can be overcome by using solar energy. The conditions for solar power are very favorable in Pakistan. That is why the solar industry is flourishing very rapidly. There is dire need of technical experts in this filed. This course will be very beneficial for a person who seeks job and wants to excel in solar systems filed.
In this course, you will learn about the introduction to basic electrical systems, introduction to basic photovoltaic (PV) systems, along with installation of and feasibility and designing of solar PV systems. You will also gain understanding of load management, PV pumping, drip irrigation, troubleshooting for solar systems and understand other renewable energy sources as well.
We will now explore the circuits and electrical attributes of modules and arrays. In Solar Energy Basics, you utilized module spec sheets to compute power using voltage and current. In this module, you will revisit those module specifications, examining how the various voltage and current values play a crucial role in determining the module's operation under diverse conditions. Lastly, we will scrutinize the design of both the internal circuitry of modules and the circuitry of arrays of modules.

After completing this course, you will be able to identify the symbols used in electrical drawings, ensure the right connections of instruments, understand ducting and piping, interpret schematic/circuit diagram of the changeover, install the system according to a lay out plan, and read the load using meters/instruments. You will also be able to perform load calculations, connections of batteries, charge controllers, solar panels and inverters.
